道案内の英会話をご紹介いたします。

道案内のコツは、似たような言い方、表現から、
自分の得意を一つに絞るといいですよ。

Direction
道案内の表現です

go straight, turn left, turn right
まっすぐ行く、左に曲がる、右に曲がる

take the first right, take the second left
一つ目を右に、二つ目を左に

turn (left) at the (first) traffic lights
（初めの）信号を（左）に

turn (right) after the (bank)
銀行を過ぎたら（右）に

go through the intersection
交差点を抜けて（直進）

go straight for (two) blocks
２ブロック抜けて（直進）

follow the (road) until (you see a park) then (turn right)
道なりに、（公園が見える）まで、それで、（左に曲がって）

it's on the left after the bank.
銀行の先、左手にありますよ。

it's on the right, it's on the corner
右手にありますよ。角にありますよ。

it's next to (the bank), it's across from (the hospital)
銀行のとなりですよ、病院の向かいですよ。

it's after (the coffee shop), you can't miss it.
カフェの先ですよ、すぐ分かりますよ。

（まっすぐ行って）、（最初の角を右に曲がって）、

そして、（コーヒーショップの先を左に曲がると）、

（左手に）ありますよ。

A: ごめんなさい、（最初の角を左）でしたっけ？

B: いいえ、（最初の角を右）ですよ。

うまく言えましたか？

A: Excuse me, I'm looking for a (bank).
Do you know where one is?

B: Sure, there's one on (Queen Street).
(Go straight), (take the first right),
then (turn left after the coffee shop),
(it's on the left)

A: I'm sorry, (take the first left)?

B: No, it's (the first right).
